New 2D UDI and GS1 barcodes. One scan captures GTIN, lot, expiry and serial.
Outbound traceability

UDI, serial and lot traceability. Without an ERP.

Most traceability software is one feature of a big, expensive inventory system. If all you need is a record of which unit went to which customer, that is a barcode scanner, a spare computer at the packing station, and about five minutes to set up.

SerialTrack records the serial number, lot or batch number, or UDI of every unit as you pack each order.

Why people arrive here

Usually the day after an audit finding or an expensive incident.

Most of our customers are small manufacturers and direct-to-consumer brands. The rules do not ask you to buy a warehouse system. They ask you to produce one specific report on a short deadline.

They ask about one batch

Not how many you sold, but who received lot K24‑0918. Records kept by SKU and quantity cannot answer that, and the answer is usually due in days.

They want people, not numbers

Names, addresses and email addresses for everyone who received it. A count of units shipped is not an answer.

The label is not enough

Since February 2026, medical device makers have to keep the UDI in their records, not just print it on the carton.

Medical devices have the sharpest deadlines, but there are similar rules for prescription drugs, cosmetics, supplements, food, and anything that emits light or radiation. See which ones apply to you, with the citations, on the compliance page.

How it works

Scan the order, then each unit going into it.

No ERP, no WMS and no new warehouse process. Most people put a spare computer at the packing station and leave it logged in. The whole workflow runs off the scanner, so your packers rarely touch the keyboard or the mouse.

01

Scan the order

Scan the order number, or type it in. The order comes up on screen so the packer can check it.

02

Scan the unit

A plain serial number barcode, or a 2D UDI code holding the GTIN, serial, lot and expiry at once. We store the full value.

03

It's on the record

We link it to the order, write it to your fulfillment system's notes, and keep it so you can search on any part of it later.

Recall reports

Search for a lot number. The report has details on everyone who received it.

Could you list everyone who received lot K24‑0918 today? Enter the lot number and you get back every order it shipped on. We look up the customer name, email address and shipping address from your fulfillment system while the report runs.

You get a table on screen and a CSV to download. That is the list a recall asks for, and the proof that you reached the people on it.

The same record answers four different questions.

You capture it once, when the order ships. Different people ask you for it later.

A supplier recalls a lot

Without records you have to recall everything you sold. With them you have 198 named customers and their addresses, ready to contact today.
